In-form Chippa United striker, George Akpabio, on loan from Premier League side, Ajax Cape Town, has told supersport.com he will make a final decision on his future at the end the season.

Akpabio's contract with his parent club is set to expire and Urban Warriors coach, Roger de Sa, wants to exercise the club's right to renew the contract based on his impressive performance with the National First Division (NFD) log leaders.

The Chilli Boys recently opened a 10-point lead on 54 points with second placed Black Leopards on 44 points and only need three points to secure automatic ticket for an immediate return to the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Interestingly, Akpabio leads the Chilli Boys goals chart with 11 goals and is second top scorer in the NFD.

"I still have time to think about my future. My target is to concentrate on the assignment at hand," the striker who set a club record of 18 goals at his former Nigerian side, Plateau United, said to SuperSport.com.

With four matches to go against Cape Town rivals, Milano and Santos as well as Witbank Spurs and United FC, Akpabio expressed confidence that he'll improve on his goal record in the NFD.
"I scored 13 goals for Vasco Da Gama last season, so my target is to score more," he told SuperSport.com.
Akpabio arrived Ajax in January 2012 on a two-and-a-half year deal and was later loaned to NFD side, Vasco, during the 2012/13 season
