Plateau United star, George Akpabio is one of the best youngsters in the highly rated Nigeria Premier League.
Although, the 2010/2011 season is his first in Nigeria’s highest league called the Nigeria Premier League, georgeakpabio.blogspot.com reports that the forward has learnt fast and is now among the top scorers.
He attended the famous St. Murumba College, Jos, which has a tradition of producing footballers.
Over the years, the school had produced talented footballers like former Nigeria and Shooting Stars captain, Segun Odegbami, former youth and senior international, Ben Akwuegbu, Nigeria and Chelsea star, John Obi Mikel and West Ham United star, Obinna Nsofor amongst others.
Akpabio narrowly missed the Flying Eagles qualifiers for the Libya 2011 Africa Youth Championship.
The youngster has all it takes to make it to the top.
