Akpabio pleased with form

By Ojeikere Aikhoje

Plateau United forward, George Akpabio, is delighted that he left Kwara United on a high after helping his team to a 1-1 draw on match day 15.

It was the third goal of the season for the forward, who was the club’s leading scorer in the lower division.

“It was a tough match for us, but I thank God for giving us a point. We have played well in previous matches with nothing to show for it. I had a good game with a goal to justify my performance.

“This will boost our survival battle,” Akpabio told georgeakpabio.blogspot.com.

“I hope to maintain this form,” he added.

Kabiru Sanusi scored the opener for Kwara United on 47 minutes before Akpabio’s equaliser in the second half.
